Thank you to Fuji reporters:

This week, for STEM day (science, technology, engineering, maths) we were making vehicles powered by wind out of straws, plastic containers, axels, kebab sticks and card. We knew that they needed to catch the wind with a big surface area ‘sail’, and low mass. We spent the whole day on them and had to work in a zigzag e.g. if it falls over fix the problem before trying again. That’s called working iteratively. Then at the end of the day we had a massive race!

We also did some art which was pretty cool but what made it cooler was that it was based on Pax! We used a stamp (printing) technique including card, foam and paint. Here are some of our beautiful pictures!

If you feel like stretching your maths muscles over the weekend with some extra tricky work on angles, follow this link.

Next week: Enterprise week! We had our introduction this afternoon. How exciting!

We have lots to look forward to. Details of residential coming up in the coming week.
