A WARM WELCOME to all new and returning families to our nursery class, Meadows!
Hope you all had a fantastic summer holiday and excited to start your year with us!
Our stories this week were: Dear Zoo, which is a lovely story with lots of different animals, and All are welcome, which follows the day of a group of children starting school.
Snack times: We welcome parents to bring in fruit, vegetables (carrot, cucumber, pepper) or plain crackers for our children to share at Snack Time. These are greatly appreciated and the children learn a lot about eating healthily and learning to wash and prepare fruit safely.
Please bring in the following items labelled with your child’s name:
- spare clothes
- water bottle
- wellington boots
- waterproof clothes
These items can be left on their pegs.
The focus of our weeks ahead will be on settling the children, ensuring they are feeling safe and happy. For those who have not been to Nursery before, we know this is a big change in their lives and for parents and carers too!
We will aim to let you know how their day has gone at pick up, though this may be a short exchange as we are ourselves getting used to new routines!
Remember drop off times are 8.30am and 12.10pm, pick up times are 11.30am and 3.10pm
