Welcome back Meadows! Hope you have all had a fantastic break!
We have had a few small changes in the classroom, one of those is with registration in the morning. We now have two boards, one is HOW DO YOU FEEL? with photographs, where children can place their pictures next to emotions.
On the second board, children will have to find their name and post them in a box to register. This is without their photograph, to support their name recognition. Some children might still find it helpful to have their photo attached.
This term our topic is travel and transport, we are starting with a brilliant story of Mrs Armitage on Wheels. We had a look at Mrs Campbell’s bike she rides to school, and discussed the use of the bell and basket, helmet and lock.

Following the children’s interests, we have created a spaceship using silver materials and baubles and pretended to be aliens in green and blue wigs.
During this term, the older children will be able to bring a Bunny home on Fridays. We have Poppy, Buttercup, Bluebell and Snowdrop, who like to spend their weekend with children. When it is your turn, please let the Bunnies join in with your everyday activities, take them on walks, look after them and keep them safe. There will be an A4 sheet that goes home with them, please take some photos and write some notes about your weekend. This sheet will be stuck in a book for each Bunny to share in class. Remember to remember them on your first day back after the weekend!
