Magnificent Meadows! We are so proud of you all!
What a wonderful finish to this week ! Today we took part in our whole school ‘King Coronation Celebration Party’. We wore our crowns with pride and enjoyed a delicious ‘high tea’ whilst listening to celebratory music. A real sense of a joyful community!
We will continue with our theme this week “On the move , Trains” We would also like to enrich this theme by inviting families to bring a picture from a trip on a train or any other transport and we would love to listen to all those wonderful stories from the children.
Key vocabulary for ‘The Train ride ‘-carriage, track, clock, guard, luggage, steam engine, escalator, platform, tickets, road crossing…
UW: Comparing past and present modes of transportation: Steam train Vs super-fast trains.
PSED: Discuss travelling on underground or tube trains and through dark tunnels. How does it feel to travel at night?

Gentle Reminder
End of Day Collection: The gate is open at 3:10pm for prompt collection please, this allows teachers to continue their working day by attending meetings and other professional development. We do not give daily individual feedback, however if a meeting is required, please ask for the appropriate form at the door. We want to keep our communication open, and this will help with timekeeping.
Please ensure your children have spare clothes in their bags. It continues to be a challenge looking for appropriate size clothes.
