We have had a super busy week in Reception!!!
All Reception children have contributed to making the ‘Nativity’ such a wonderful and joyous experience, which we know that Parents and Carers thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you all for the positive feedback and appreciative comments.
Children looked amazing in their costumes as they acted, narrators bravely told the story and everyone joined in with the actions whilst singing their hearts out!
Our learning this week:
- Amongst all the festive activities, we have also managed to write in our Christmas cards and wrap lots of presents too!
- We have also been reviewing all the phonics we have been learning so far and have tried hard to include the ‘Tricky Troll’ words, ‘I’ and ‘the’ in our writing too!
- We have also thoroughly enjoyed challenging ourselves to use the Christmas counting objects to solve and write simple equations.
We are all so very proud of our children in Pumpkins, Sunflowers and Acorns and congratulate them in making their first Nativity such a sucess!
Next Week:
We will continue with Celebrations and our focus will be on learning about Hannukah.
