Hi we’re the star journalists and
we’re back today with:
- L.T scrapbook
- Miraculous miles
- Bandit bar models
- Delusional drawing
- Magic midwife
- And the most heavy rain!!!!!
We have been making some scrapbooks about the life of L.T Shepard from guided reading. This scrapbook is based on parts of his life like at sweet home, going to boarding school, the terror at war and in the forest with the children. We have made several amazing pieces so far but this has got to be the best, we have made flaps , miniature books and many letters and poems.
We have been starting our day with a run outside trying to beat the other classes’ Daily Mile records. All of us ran laps around the arena and used stopwatches to measure how much time it took us to run 1 mile. We have many astonishing records, some people even took less then 10 minutes to run a whole mile!!!
We had a visit to the art room in which we did some realistic drawings of some simple but beautiful objects Many of us have drawn this to improve and work our artistic minds and to help us in our next lesson in which we are going to make some Cyrillic paintings.
Next half term our topic is space. Our guided reading text will be Christopher Edge’s book, The Jamie Drake Equation if you would like to purchase a copy for yourself – no spoilers, though please..!
Happy half term.
