Over half way through Spring 2 and it has been another amazing week here in Year 5!

This week, in STEM, we continued our learning  on life cycles by investigating that of a mammal and a bird. We explored how these are similar and different and researched the life cycle of a mammal to write up in our books. In Geography, we took our Dynamic Coasts project a step further by thinking about the physical features of coasts! In English, we took a closer look at Amit, a character in our focus book and Maths saw us continue to focus on multiplication, considering different methods and why being efficient is key. Finally, in PSHCE, we began to explore different drugs and medicines for our unit on drug education. Our focus this week was on exploring what makes different drugs safe and unsafe, and the role of medicine in our health.
