What a wonderful week of learning we had in Year 1. Thank you so much to all the children for showing the Golden Agreements outside school during Sports Day and thank you to all the parents and carers for all your support!
This week:
In English we have been using descriptive words and sentences describing a dragon.
In Maths we have continued learning about money and the use of sets of coins.
In RSE we have been learning about how to look after bodies and why is important to have good hygiene.
In topic we designed our carnival costume inspired by the 4 elements (fire, earth, water and air)
And we culminate our learning this week with a great performance in Sports Day!
Next Week:
In English we will learn poetry and their features.
In Maths we will learn to use an analog clock and tell the time to the hour.
In RSE we will learn why is important to look after our health so we can prevent getting ill.
In RE we will learn about forgiveness and its importance in life.
In PE we will start our dance unit getting ready for the carnival parade.
