Wow! It was lovely to see so much fantastic learning on Tapestry yesterday. Thank you to all for sharing these with us. You must be curious what learning activities we are completing today! Here is a sneak preview:

Group Learning: Today the children will be retelling the story ‘The Three Little Pigs’ using pictures and actions. Ms Watson has created a story map, can you learn the actions to help you retell the story? Learning Task: To create your own picture story map or record yourself retelling the story using the actions learnt in the video. Resources needed: red book, pencil, colouring pencils or a device that can record videos.

Phonics: Today will be learning another new trigraph ‘ear’. As in gear and hear. The children will be reading words and Ms Bharat will reveal the image. Did you guess the correct picture? Learning Task: To draw pictures and write labels for words that contain the ‘ear’ sound. Challenge: To independently write three sentences about the pictures you have drawn. Resources needed: your sound mat, your red book and a pencil.

Maths: Today the children will receive a mystery letter – we will not reveal much more. The children will be building houses for the three pigs using the 3D shapes they collected yesterday. Why does the tower Miss Sadler built keep falling over? Resources needed: 3D shapes you collected yesterday, your red books and a pencil. Click here for 3D Shape Names

Have a fantastic day of learning everyone, we look forward to see all your wonderful learning soon!
