This week in reception we have been writing messages to Jack and the giant to post on our classroom beanstalks. Some of the children think that Jack shouldn’t have stolen from the giant while others think the giant was too mean to Jack. What do you think? In maths we have been sequencing the parts of our day. From waking up to going to bed, the children have been putting their routines in order. We’ve also been exploring all the different ways you can make the number 5.
Some of the beans we planted last week have started to sprout! We also have some new little friends joining us in the classroom. Stay tuned for more exciting news!
– Tuesday is “Look a Little Closer” Day. Please have your child bring in something from nature that they would like to look at under a microscope.
– Please label you child’s belongings (especially jumpers, wellies and P.E. kits).
– We welcome any donations for junk modelling and old tshirts for painting aprons.
